TEROSON SB 3140 is a finely sprayable coating material based on synthetic resins.
The dry film provides excellent adhesion to cleaned underbodies, to bare metal and painted surfaces, high covering capacity, good corrosion protection and high abrasion resistance, resulting in good road stone antichip characteristics.
TEROSON SB 3140 can be painted with standard vehicle paint systems after about 15 minutes.
For best results, painting should be done within 6 hours (s) after product application.
Oven drying at ca. 60°C is possible without problems.
As a general rule, mechanical stress (e.g. the use of a car wash facility) is to be avoided during the first few weeks.
Please also consult the product information of the paint manufacturer for the mechanical resistance of the overpainted surface.
TEROSON SB 3140 is used to protect visible vehicle parts, e.g. front apron, rear apron and door sill, against corrosion due to road stone chips, road salt and humidity. The material can be overpainted shortly after application. The material is also used in addition to road stone antichip layers and for selective applications and repair jobs after an accident repair.
