GLASURIT 90-IC 330 undercoat thinner - an additive for use with Glasurit 90 Line solid paints and base coats. GLASURIT 90-IC 330 undercoat thinner ensures optimal adhesion, durability and improves the resistance of the paint to environmental factors such as temperature fluctuations, humidity and chemicals. Particularly recommended as the first coat in three-coat paint systems.

Purpose:

• Improves the mechanical resistance and surface hardness of the paint.
• Ensures excellent adhesion to the substrate.
• Reduces the risk of cracking and spalling of the paint layer over time.

Suitable substrates:

• Sanded fillers.
• Glasurit 285 series primer fillers used as base coats.

Surface preparation:

• Cleaning: Use Glasurit 700-1 cleaner to remove grease, dirt and other surface contaminants.
• Sanding: It is recommended to use P400-P500 sandpaper to make the surface smooth and ready for painting.
• Re-cleaning: Use Glasurit 700-1 again to ensure the surface is clean.

Instead of the standard sanding process, the “wet-on-wet” technique can be used, covering the surface with the special GLASURIT filler, thus saving time and ensuring a smooth process. The undercoat thinner is intended for professional car body repair, painting and renovation, where a long-lasting and high-quality paint layer is required. GLASURIT 90-IC 330 undercoat thinner is an additive for the single-color 90 Line and single-color base coats. It is used as a primer in 90 Line 3-coat systems to improve resistance and hardness.
