Body polishing is an effective way to remove paint scratches, restore colour depth and achieve a spectacular gloss. To achieve flawless polishing results, polishing pastes are often used. Polishing pastes give the polished surface a shine, remove small swirl marks and holograms on all paint surfaces and ensure a flawless finish. Automotive polishes are available in different types, each designed for specific surface defects and needs. Some types of polishing pastes:
- Abrasive polishing paste is used to remove the deepest scratches, oxidation and other major surface defects. They have large abrasive particles that effectively abrade the surface, but often require additional polishing with finer pastes after use.
- "Finishing polishes are designed to finish the surface, giving it the highest gloss and clarity. They are extremely fine and have virtually no abrasive particles, so they are used after all other polishing steps.
- "Fine Cut polishing paste is used to remove minor surface defects such as fine scratches and swirl marks. It has small abrasive particles that gently polish the surface, giving it a shiny and smooth finish.
- "All-in-one polishing paste: is a combination of abrasive and non-abrasive mixtures designed to both remove imperfections and increase the gloss of paint.
